I’m a qualified Orthotist working in the NHS, where no two days — or patients — are ever the same. With a background in exercise prescription and professional sports, I’ve seen firsthand how much good communication matters. The right words can calm a worry, explain a plan, or make complex healthcare feel a little less overwhelming — and that’s exactly what I aim to do through my writing.
Alongside my clinical work, I’m developing my writing professionally to share knowledge, improve communication, and contribute to wider healthcare discussions. My goal is to bridge the gap between complex clinical information and everyday understanding — whether that’s through plain language health writing, patient guides, or educational content.
I’m also passionate about bringing creativity into healthcare communication — writing blogs with humour and colour, and developing children’s books that help younger readers understand medical concepts in a friendly, accessible way.
I bring a practical perspective from real-world patient care and rehabilitation, with a genuine love for making information both meaningful and memorable.
